“Giraneza” is a Rwandan word and means “Do good”. The concept of good is attached to the concepts of happiness, of good state of things, of good consequences to promote or of a good life. Rwandan society, after the throes of war and genocide, desires a life of happiness. He who does good has in front of him a prospect of happiness.
Founded in 2019, by a group of 12 people including Father Dr. Cyprien DUKUZUMUREMYI, a Priest of Catholic Church, the GIRANEZA non-Government Organization has a vision to contribute to the promotion of the integral development of the human being and to the well-being of the population like Jesus: "wherever He went, He did good" (Act10, 38).
If only the world around us, that is to say those who see us living, loving, forgiving, sharing, could say about each of us what the Acts say about Jesus, "everywhere He went, He was doing good". There are, in history, these men and women whom we can say that where they have been, they have done good. For the most part, they have learned to look at others through the eyes of Jesus. To look at the other with the look of Christ is to look at him with a look that hopes, with the look full of patience and forgiveness, with the look that gives back a taste for life. To look at the other with the look of Jesus is also to rejoice in what he does better than us, other than us. It is always time to rediscover the desire to love in the manner of Christ: that wherever we go, we do good!
The good that is in us is always ready to germinate, to flourish and to give fruits to others. The GIRANEZA Organization aims for people to do good and have a good quality of life. help sex workers to get out of sex industry.
